Constant Improvements

As you can see, Shawnee is continuing to improve. This project's renovations will include a brick pathway leading to the parking lot, and a patio in front of the Waring and Hope Rooms.

Please expect to see the the progress of this project in the upcoming days and weeks.

Shawnee has completed the first phase of the project by excavating the site where the brick pathway will be installed.

Shawnee


This is a picture of The Shawnee Inn that was taken this season. As one can see there are many small, but important, new appointments, such as new benches, bench platforms, white brick guards stones around the turnabout, red brick walkway, and the Arts and Crafts light post.
It is the little things that truly make a difference!

Foodie Fare



The Foodie Fare was a great success! With 25 food, wine and microbrew pairings, the event was perfecto. Foodies rejoice!

Wing Off


River Room entered a recent "Wing Off" competition and commanded an enormous line the entire day. As you can see people were waiting over 30 minutes just to try the River Room's wonderful creations.The River Room is located on the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

The Kirkwood Room


The Kirkwood Room is an exclussive amenity for Legacy Collection guests. It is also new to The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort this year.
This is the new kind of service guests can expect at Shawnee these days. The Kirkwood Room is available for guests to dine, fellowship, and relax. Also offered is a daily coctail hour.

Rare Finds


Ginkgo trees are native to China and are all but extict and are only found as ornametals. This rare find is located on the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. It must have been planted early in Shawnee's history.

The Small Things


A brick walkway, friendly smile, attentive service or inviting furniture - it is the little things that truly create a positive experience. This bench was installed in front of The Shawnee Inn for guests to take in, first-hand, the beautiful landscape.
