Audubon International

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a proud member of the Audubon International's Cooperative Sanctuary Program for golf courses. With this partnership, we have set aside certain areas around the golf course as bird sanctuaries. These patches are being naturalized - wild flowers planted, nest boxes built, and there is no mowing or spraying permitted.

Shawnee's committment to the environment does not stop there. We are continuously improving our sustainability practices and have recently charged the Shawnee Green Team with developing and improving our current green practices.

Junior Camps

It's time to get geared up for Shawnee's Junior Camps. There is still time to book. From golf lessons in the morning to course play in the evening and activities including swimming, football, and hiking, Shawnee's Junior Camps are sure to forge lifelong memories in your children's lives.

Osprey Release

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort was recently the site of an Osprey release. This outstanding bird was injured and nursed back to health. Shawnee's natural habitat is the perfect setting for Osprey.

The Shawnee Gallery

The Shawnee Gallery was introduced in 2008. A large part of the new movement at Shawnee is pushing for strong local sourcing. The Shawnee Gallery showcases local artisans on a seasonal basis.

Shawnee Fishing Adventures

This is Shawnee's Head Fishing Guide, Will Stryeski. He has been fishing the "Big D" for decades and accommodates anglers of all skill levels.

As a testitmate to his dedication to service, this past year Will won the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau's "Outstanding Tourism Employee of the Year" Award.
