This is the original program of the 1938 PGA Championship held at The Shawnee Country Club. At this time in history, the Shawnee Inn was still called the Buckwood Inn and Shawnee Country Club.After Fred Waring purchased the Inn from C.C. Worthington, he changed the name of the resort to The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort - and the rest is history.
